Hospitals and networks in Tennessee
The reference systems are Vanderbilt University Medical Center and HCA TriStar (Nashville), Baptist Memorial and Methodist Le Bonheur (Memphis), UT Medical Center and Covenant Health (Knoxville) and Erlanger (Chattanooga). We confirm your network before you choose a plan.
2027 subsidy in Tennessee
The subsidy depends on your income and household size (100%–400% of the federal poverty level), not on the state. What changes in Tennessee is the price of the plans by county and which carriers participate in your area. Use the calculator to see whether your household is in the eligible range and then we compare the specific plans in your county. None of the five states where we are licensed expanded Medicaid. That means if your household income falls below 100% of the federal poverty level, you may not qualify for a Marketplace subsidy or for Medicaid as an adult. There are exceptions that depend on your case, which is why we review your income with you before submitting anything.
